A Message about COVID-19.

Rural AIDS Action Network (RAAN) has been monitoring updates and information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We want to share our current plans for programs and how it may impact you.

Our main concern is for the health and safety of the people we serve, our staff, and the greater communities that we are all a part of. We are committed to ensuring that services are available during this time. Please know that office hours, etc. will likely change as we get new information. If you plan to visit one of the offices or have an appointment, please call in advance to be sure someone will be there.

We want everyone to stay healthy! If you are sick or have cold or flu like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment or plan for a phone call instead of meeting in person. We are encouraging everyone to practice social distancing.

Case Management services will continue as usual with staff working from home but will be accessible via phone and email.

Support Groups in Minnesota and North Dakota have been canceled through April.

Support Services (food vouchers and transportation) services will continue to be processed as usual by RAAN staff. We cannot speak to how medical appointments may be handled and we encourage you to confirm all appointments with your provider(s). We also cannot speak to how individual taxi companies may be impacted so please provide as much notice as possible to your Medical Case Manager when requesting taxi rides.

Syringe Services will continue to operate as we can. If you plan to visit one of the offices, please check our social media sites and/or call in advance to be sure someone will be there. We will continue to assess health and safety factors for all and will be adjusting schedules as needed. No HIV or Hepatitis C testing will be conducted.

Information is changing quickly, and we will do our best to provide updates on social media and our website as we have them.  Please contact your Medical Case Manager or the St. Cloud office if you have questions.
